Elephant Camp, Victoria Falls
Less than 30 kilometres from the world-reknowned Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Elephant Camp has the unique attraction of being the only African safari camp where you can go for picnics with elephants.
You will feel very much at home at Elephant Camp- it accommodates a maximum of eight guests, and is also home to four orphaned elephants. Elephant Camp’s orphans are accustomed to guests that during nightfall their snoring or feeding can be heard in Elephant Camp’s chalets. Their sounds are counterpointed by the rushing waters of Victoria Falls.
Elephant Camp’s chalets have en suite facilities and offer great views. Elephant Camp also has a honeymoon suite. Elephant Camp’s main building has a lounge, bar and dining area and elevated deck where you can enjoy your meals. The water spray from Victoria Falls can also be seen from Elephant’s Camp.
Elephant Camp’s guests are encouraged to interact with the resident elephants. You can go on picnics accompanied by these elephants or just enjoy watching them frolicking, feeding or swimming in the waterholes of Elephant Camp.
Elephant Camp offers easy access to Victoria Falls- one of the world’s greatest natural wonders, and activities associated with Victoria Falls. Adrenaline sports like white water rafting and tandem skydiving are available in Victoria Falls. Elephant Camp is only 26kms away from Victoria Falls, so it is easy to move between these two wonderful locations.
